Job Description:

Job Summary:

As a Technology Training Coordinator, you will help our staff leverage the technology resources that are available to them. The ideal candidate will enjoy a position that requires technical aptitude, data analytics, and training co-workers. Your primary focus is to increasing user adoption of our LMS (Learning Management System) and Attendance tracking system and to develop and promote Best Practices and regular trainings.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to maintain an expert-level understanding of our data systems and how our Organization uses them.

  • Provide ongoing support to Staff to empower their usage of our systems

  • Develop and promote Best Practices for our Data Systems

  • Work with Management to help support agency objectives through technology use

  • Develop staff and member trainings; using desktop publishing; submitting initial versions for review; revising and editing final copy.

  • Schedule, conduct, and report on data related training activities for all staff & members.

  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting on engagement and usage

  • Maintains safe and healthy training environment by following organization standards and legal regulations.

  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards

  • Evaluates effectiveness of training to specific job applications

  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Experience and Skills

Education Requirements:

  • Associates/bachelor’s degree (related field preferred) or relevant experience.

Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a trainer, ideally a technical or trainer

  • Demonstrate Technical Aptitude: previous technical positions, certifications, training, etc.

  • Professional experience in designing technical course content

  • Outstanding communication and facilitation skills

Skills:

  • Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems), ideally with Canvas LMS

  • Background in technology support, data analytics, or training

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Experience developing training modules

  • Comfortable working with large data sets in Excel (SQL experience a plus)

  • Must have a valid WI driver’s license, good driving record, and meets state required automobile insurance minimums.
