Job Summary:
Responsible for the school year and/ or Summer Programs daily operations of a Boys & Girls School Site with the primary concerns for programs and service delivery, supervision of staff, facilities management, budget management, membership data/administration, and reports as needed.

BGCGM Culture
- Demonstrate and communicate the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee (BGCGM) philosophy, objectives, standards and programs through all methods available to members, their parents, and the general public. Provide quality program activities that are inclusive, welcoming, respectful and responsive to the diversity of members, families and community.
Leadership
- Ensures Environment, Programs and Services prepare Youth for success and facilitate achievement of aspiration of Club Members.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of the Strategic plan.
- Provide quality program activities and experiences that promote a sense of purpose and individual empowerment for members to practice and develop leadership skills, make meaningful choices during activities, support members to develop skills in decision making, planning and goal setting skills.
- Promote and support members initiated and member lead activities. Foster an environment that offers choices, incorporates team building and promotes a sense of belonging and group identity for members.
Club Operation and Administration
- Responsible for ensuring Club achieves program targets, outcomes, revenue goals, contract obligations and community relations.
- Responsible to ensure all BGCGM administrative policies and processes to include but not limited to Grants, Development & Marketing, Human Resources, Finance, are adhered to at the Clubs.
Program Planning and Management
- Ensures compliance for program contracts including those with community partners, private and public funders.
- Keeps accurate attendance, tracks member participation in assigned program areas, documents results and progress of members. Generate monthly, quarterly, and/or annual reports as requested.
- Leads, creates and evaluates Program development and implementation.
- Provide opportunities to engage and support the families of members, build reciprocal relationships with communities, volunteers and organizations to support program goals.
Community Collaboration and Partnerships
- Provide opportunities to engage and support the families of members, build reciprocal relationships with communities, volunteers and organizations to support program goals.
Managing a Safe and Positive Environment
- Understands and follows the BGCGM Member Care Manual policies and procedures to include but not limited to conduct of member policies, supervision of members policies, employee to member policies, member safety polices, child abuse and neglect policies, member health policies, transportation and field trips policies, the club safety/contingency plan, and the procedures for reporting incidents/accidents during program hours.
- Assures program safety and safety of staff, volunteers, visitors, members and daily operations. Communicates emergency procedures to all using facility.
- Implements the Club’s loss control and risk management programs and reports incidents and losses.
- Ensures proper documentation of all issues and incidents related to facilities management.
Human Resource Management
- Organizes, directs and supervises the daily operations of a Club, including staffing program scheduling and work flow. Leads, creates, and evaluates Program development and implementation.
- Manages the Club staff and volunteers according to the practices and policies developed by BGCGM.
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate operations staff within the Club. Conduct regular meeting with staff to for timely communications.
- Must participate in required trainings by the Club, County, State and/or fundor.
- Responsible for the compliance training requirements/regulations of YoungStar and State Licensing.
Financial Management and Development
- Create and understand annual budget. Monitors monthly budget reports for Club, take action upon discover of a revenue or expense variance.
- Manages and oversees Wisconsin Shares and other revenue subsidy programs.
- Maintains accurate documentation of Club operations and prepares timely reports.
