Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Core Area Program Coordinator or Club Manager, provides National

BGCA curriculum, program projects, and other events within development for youth.

Job Responsibilities:

Work cooperatively with all staff to assure quality activities are planned, implemented, and supervised.

Tracks member participation in assigned program areas, and documents results and progress of members.

Assists in the planning, organizing, and implementing of assigned programs/activities of members.

Provides guidance and direction to members in the areas of academic success, healthy lifestyles, and civic and community engagement.

Create and expose youth engaged in quality activities to achieve specific goals and outcome measurements.

Other duties as assigned.

Must participate in trainings required by Club, County, State and/or funders.

Experience and Skills


Demonstrate a willingness to work with youth of ethnically backgrounds, and have an understanding of developmental characteristics of youth ages 6-17.

Be self-motivated, energetic, and spontaneous.

Good communication skills, both written and oral.





Possess a variety of experiences working with youth ages 6-17, such as Physical Education, Arts & Crafts or Playground Supervision.

Within 6 months of hire:

  • CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Suspected Child Abuse- Mandated Report Training (SCAN_MART)or equivalent.
  • Shaken Baby Prevention Training, if required
  • School age assistant training, if required
